    On Thursday June 23rd, I along with a few other dozen up-and-coming photographers will be displaying works spanning from many different genres of photography. For this show I committed myself to sticking with a fully traditional film approach with the photo submitted for the Photo Assistance Show. Later would I find out the difficulties and frustrations of keeping to an all tradition film process in an ever evolving realm where digital technology dominates and film photography struggles to maintain a presence in the consumer market. For this show I will be displaying an 18x20 image from the "Found+Abandon" film series.

SVANH(Portrait)

    ..."A man on the move"...  I was given an oppurtunity to follow and capture one of L.A's up and coming photographers, Sammy Siharat a.k.a SVANH. Originally from Oklahoma, SVANH has carved out his own path and has brought his unique and artistic style of photography to the streets of Los Angeles. Photographs from this portrait series gives you a chance to take a quick glance at the elusive SVAHN when he puts down his camera for only brief a moment...(click on highlighted name to be directed to link)

       G.O. is proud to have such an array of talent for it's very first Art Walk reception.
